Hi there, many thanks to Allen, for giving us this link. Hopefully,
in time we will be able to add content on the site about what’s
going on in our library, here at Sandfields. Also a short history of
the library service here in Port Talbot up to the present day. For the
moment I’d just like to tell you where to find us, and introduce
our ‘team’.
We are a branch Library, situated in Morrison Road, Sandfields, our
phone number is –
01639 883616,
and our Email address is –
or
sandfields.library@neath-porttalbot.gov.uk.
Are You interested in tracing your family tree?.
Then pop along to Sandfields library, for free tips, and advice. Betty
and Sandra can show you how to start, or try and help you, if you have
a problem or query. We have free use of the internet, and printers (
10p, black and white copy, 30p, colour). We look forward to seeing you
so you can discover those
long-lost ancestors.
This service will not be available during the summer holidays, but will
be back in September, at the following times. -
Thursday Afternoons 2.00 P.M - 4.00 P.M
Friday Mornings 10.00 A.M - 12.00.
We have three members of staff, Ceri who is our Librarian, Julie, our
senior library assistant, and me, Anne a lowly library assistant! We
are a very friendly bunch, and will help anyone who visits us with anything
from faxing or photocopying, to choosing a cracking read! I would recommend
anyone who isn’t a member of the library, to come down and see
for yourselves all we have to offer. You can be sure of a good welcome!
