At Aberavon Library
The General Register Office Indexes to Births, Marriages and Deaths, 1837-2000 1837-1912 (microfilm), 1913-2000 (microfiche)

· Tithe maps for the parishes of Aberavon, Baglan, Glyncorrwg and Michaelston-super-Avon, all drawn circa 1840. (No tithe map for Margam was ever made.)
· Ordnance Survey 25" maps of the Port Talbot area, 1876-1980s. A separate list is available.
